Respect & Responsibility Groups (R&R)
Every student is a member of a small, multi-grade Respect and Responsibility (R&R) Group. Led by faculty and staff, R&R groups comprise of “big siblings” and “little siblings” (usually a group of three with one 6th, one 7th, and one 8th grade student) who meet twice a week - once during community period, and once a week during lunch. Each group chooses a name to go with the group color. The activities vary from week to week based on what the students and the R&R leaders want to focus on! R&R groups often compete in school-wide spirit weeks, and other competitions (like a school-wide dodgeball competition!).
