Jessie was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. She will always consider herself a social studies teacher, having taught Social Studies and Humanities for six years. She enjoys discussing current events with students and helping them explore how they can positively impact the world around them.

In 2011, Jessie found a home for 11 years at Billings Middle School. Her roles evolved—from teacher and advisor to Director of Educational Technology and, ultimately, Dean of Academics. Each role allowed her to make a profound impact on her students' educational experience.

For the past two years, she has served as the Director of Middle School at Forest Ridge School of the Sacred Heart in Bellevue. Jessie loves spending time with her family and friends in her free time, hanging out on or by the water, skiing, traveling, and watching sports. While she loves all sports, she is a diehard Baltimore Orioles fan and loves college basketball.
