Shelby studied History and Secondary Education at the University of Arkansas and continues to develop the social studies curriculum that is engaging to all students and prepares them for the future. Before coming to L-Dub, Shelby taught Humanities in Houston, TX. She also served as a mentor for Girls on the Run, a program that helps young women build confidence while training for a 5k. At L-Dub, Shelby currently teaches Drama, Social Justice, and Humanities. In her free time, Shelby enjoys visiting her family in Arkansas, running, reading, and binge watching the TV show FRIENDS.
