Ms. E grew up in Everett and graduated from Snohomish High School. She received her initial teacher certification at the University of Portland, where she double majored in secondary education and mathematics before earning her Masters in Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Washington, specializing in mathematics education. Ms. E taught at Archbishop Murphy High School and Villa Academy for nine years before coming to L-Dub. She loves teaching middle schoolers because she secretly knows she's as weird as they are, and is passionate about making math class an interesting and fun place to be. In her free time, Ms. E geeks out about Star Wars and Marvel movies, builds Legos, watches women's sports (Go Storm!), and enjoys hiking, camping, baking, and reading.
