Academics
Students at L-Dub engage in an academically challenging and engaging curriculum, including extensive research and writing, regular debates and oral presentations, individualized and collaborative math instruction, and real-world, experiential science. At the heart of our curriculum is a commitment to social justice. With our unique, creative curriculum that is integrated across disciplines, L-Dub prepares students to critically assess environments and events, to excel academically, and to exercise their voices. Our students graduate as confident, socially responsible, creative young people, who are well prepared for high school and beyond.
Student Life
The L-Dub experience is more than just academic classes. Our students have many opportunities to meet as a school, celebrate together, participate in clubs, serve their community, and engage in healthy competition. We cultivate many opportunities for leadership and believe that there are varied styles of leadership and that any student can be a leader.
Enrichment Programs
At L-Dub, we build purposeful programs that create an inclusive and equitable community. We center our programs around the perspectives and strengths of middle school girls, and each program is structured to support learning, growth, and leadership.
Community
At L-Dub, we believe in private education with public purpose. Community is at the heart of everything we do, and it is our goal to foster and continue to build strong relationships and partner with mission-aligned organizations within our local community. We encourage our student, faculty and staff, and caregiver communities to volunteer for L-Dub initiatives, but also, for other organizations working to serve the local community.
